We ate dinner here last night. The restaurant was quite busy and more than half full, mostly families enjoying a summer Sunday evening. We have had take out from here before, and I didn't realize they had a dining room! The service was excellent. Our servers took time to explain the various dishes to us, and checked on us just enough to be attentive but not annoying. The dishware is very nice, and the surroundings clean and interesting. They have many booths, which were comfy and inviting. The food was piping hot and delicious. It was spiced just as they said it would be with good/generous portions. The prices were reasonable. We enjoyed the community atmosphere as other diners came and went, some with children waving. In all, we plan to return to eat in soon! ~ Hilary V

Everest Tandoori Kitchen is an absolute gem and easily the best Indian restaurant I’ve had in the Niagara region. The food was incredibly flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care, with generous portions and great prices for both the quality and quantity. Our server, Anu, was so kind and welcoming. She made sure we had everything we needed and genuinely enhanced the whole experience. You can tell both the service and the kitchen take pride in what they do. I’ve tried many Indian spots around Niagara, and this one is now my favourite and new go-to. They also have a ton of vegetarian and vegan options, which is a huge plus. I recently visited Everest Tandoori kitchen , and it was amazing! From the moment we walked in, the place felt warm and welcoming with its beautiful decor and soft Indian music in the background. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with paneer tikka and chilli chicken , which were full of flavor and cooked just right. For the main course, the butter chicken and dal makhani were incredible—rich, creamy, and so satisfying. The garlic naan was soft and fresh, perfect for scooping up the sauces. The staff were super friendly and attentive, always checking to make sure we had everything we needed. They also explained the dishes, which made the experience even better. If you’re looking for tasty Indian food and a great atmosphere, I highly recommend this restaurant . I can’t wait to go back! ~ Neeti S

Been here twice, once for lunch and another time for dinner. It's been great both times and now my favourite St. Catharines Indian restaurant. First time had the butter chicken lunch special which is amazing value at 8$ for veg and 9$ for non-veg. For dinner they currently have an 18$ special for an appetizer (chicken or veg option) main course that comes with rice and naan, and a dessert. Service is as slow as any other Indian place depending on the time of day. The food itself is very, very good. I really like.the tandoori chicken and the tikka masala, their naan is better than average and best of all, they have Coca Cola products (they have Pepsi too fyi). ~ Dolla R

Loved dining in there , customer service was very good and on time, humble and helpful. Wonderdul ambience. Good consistency and on request no cost chutney and sauce. Check out my pics. Ordered housespecial crispy chilly, veg haaka noodles , mango Lassi and lime drink. If you are in a group of 10 you have small family like space to accommodate everyone together. Visited second time and had ordered the most expensive vegetarian dish on menu I.e paneer Tikka lababdar which was just fantastic and bit on the sweeter side so good dish to choose for people who don't wnat spicy Indian food, laccha parata 3 was sufficient for 2 people and in starters I had ordered , honey garlic cauliflower. Great selection for all food needs, great quality and a great price. We got the tikka masala, chicken keema, tandoor mushroom, the chicken mo mo dumplings (steamed), some rice, 2 samosas and naan. Each dish came with delicious side sauces. Every dish was balanced and flavourful and the ingredients were fresh and not overly oily or greasy. I really appreciated the balance of heat and flavour, I can go pretty hot but we went with medium just in case and it was just right for all of us. Service was stellar, you can really tell each dish is made and served with real passion. We had no idea what to expect, and we were genuinely blown away. It just tasted... So damn good! We will be coming back for sure, and delivery is $6 to St Catharines, and only $12 to NOTL so I'm looking forward to adding to our support local network. Thank you Kolkata Club! ~ Stephanie S

Everest Tandoori – A Must-Try Experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (10/10) I can’t speak for those who’ve been to India, but as a Canadian, this place is top-notch. I stopped by for lunch on a Saturday and simply asked to be surprised. The chef delivered with a phenomenal vegetarian dish: **Paneer Tikka Lababdar**—a rich, flavorful combination of cottage cheese in a creamy cashew-tomato sauce with onions and peppers. Paired with butter naan and rice, it was perfection. I wrapped up my meal with a warm, aromatic **masala chai**, the perfect finishing touch. This spot has officially become my go-to for Indian cuisine. Highly recommend! ~ Robert D

I recently dined in here, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The menu had an incredible variety of dishes, from classic curries to unique regional specialties, all bursting with authentic flavors and spices. The standout part of the evening, however, was the service. Onisha, our server, was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, helping us choose the perfect dishes based on our preferences. The food is amazing the owners and their sons are amazing. The prices are great, the food is fantastic, portions are very good and the flavors are authenticly out of this world. I have just about tried every item on the menu and have been blown away by the amazing flavors. Simply the best Naan bread, made to order in the tandoori oven of course. Lunch special is of super great value. The restaurant is clean and bright and the service is fantastic. I cannot stress how happy I am to have the Kolkata Club in our part of town. Don't be afraid of heat, all the meals can be made according to your heat preference. You must try the handmade samosas and the onion bhaji. Lots of vegetarian options and they also have some Haka Indian inspired dishes. Very tasty Indian food in St. Catharines! Our family was happy to see a new place open up so we could try and see if we can avoid trips to Niagara or Hamilton / Toronto. We ordered the shahi paneer, malai kofta, sweet gobi appetizer, and veg manchurian. We were happy with all of them. The menu is mostly North Indian but they have some Hakka dishes. Anyone who normally travels to Niagara Falls or Toronto for their Indian food should try Kolkata Club. The plaza has plenty of parking, and their restaurant has plenty of seating for large groups. ~ Naval S

By far the best Indian restaurant in the Niagara area. The onion bhajis were some of the best I’ve ever had, the samosas were perfectly crispy and not dough-y. The tandoori and the curries were flavourful and amazing, and the naan was fresh and delicious. A lot of the others cater to tourists (ie don’t care too much if the naan is fresh or chicken is chewy because it’s a rotating list of tourists who visit and never return) or those who don’t like spice (ie the curries all taste bland/the same or sweet) but as someone who’s grown up eating curries this was wonderful. ~ Nadine

Had an amazing dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making the experience even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to Onisha, who made our visit even better with her outstanding customer service. I ordered a palak panner and Dal makhani with some parathas for dinner last night. It was astonishing. The black lentil was mouth-wateringly delicious with the aloo paratha. The food was freshly made and smelled simply mind-blowing. The staffs were very friendly and cooperative as well as the owner. I definitely recommend this restaurant for parties and family gathering functions. The front of the house (dining area) was really alluring and neat. Probably one of the best restaurants in the Niagara region. I strongly suggest everyone to check this place out. ~ Sumeet K

It was a night me and my friends visited Everest Tandoori Kitchen Restaurant. Still I remember each moments we spend there. It was our last spot we visited in our Niagara Falls trip. So we were 20 people so we took dine in there. The atmosphere there was pretty fine and calm. The staffs were so good in the communications and friendliness. I felt a really good customer support over there. We all had different food items, I tried Chicken Biriyani Spicy. To be frank it was spicy as it says. Presentation was good too. After one which we hounour their support is one of our friends birthday was on that day, they allowed us to celebrate the event and they also joined with us also made great moments there by giving him a birthday song too. Might this is one reason some people get bad mood here. Its but not fair from customer's side is many reviews i saw it takes a lot of time for their cooking, it's all because it's fleshly prepared. Truly EXCELLENT Indian food! This is my new favorite restaurant in the NOTL/St. Catherine's area. We ordered several dishes and all of them were fabulous-- went back the next day for more. Lovely and helpful young lady took our order, and the delivery service was prompt and friendly. One thing to keep in mind-- this is real Indian food, not the watered down North American version we often get, so be mindful when you choose your spicey heat level. I am normally a *medium* person, but in future will consider *mild*. My husband likes *hot* and this time, for once, he was not disappointed! ~ Marjorie R

I was so happy when this restaurant opened up. The food is amazing and is so fresh and so tasty. I can't say enough about how good it is to be eating authentic Indian food again! The samosas are so enormous and so delicious. The chicken keema naan is out of this world. This is a restaurant I will be visiting over and over and over again. We are talking fresh and tasty food! Hands down my favorite Indian restaurant in St. Catharines; hell, just restaurant in general! The staff is super friendly and the food is absolutely to die for — especially their Samosas and Paneer Tikka. My go to is always the Butter Chicken or Lamb Curry, Samosas and Potato Cheese Paratha. Their Biryanis are sensational as well; not to mention, their Lunch Special is super affordable and the portions more than generous! CHICKEN HAKKA NOODLES!!!!🥰 4 years in Canada, numerous indo chinese restaurants visits and didnt get the kick. I missed home until i decided to order chinese food at this restaurant. The owner would’ve thought “ hmm I think a small chinese menu is good to have on top of every other great items we serve”. Little did they know they have a gem of a chef unless the chef is owner :p We picked a chinese item from each section and none of the items disappointed us. My emotion for the first time wasnt “they tried”, it was “This is it! This is home”. ~ Jaria A

I have been here many tims and everytime I felt like home. The staff as well as the food is extensively of high quality. 😊 The servers are very welcoming and they treat you as if you are their own. They are of well behaved and very sweet nature. I felt loved and respected. The food is also quite fresh and tastes delicious. Moreover, I have done Take-out quite a few times and they have always made the perfect order for me. The whole staff is wholesome. I recommend everyone to visit there at least once. I absolutely love this restaurant. Big vibrant flavours offered in classic dishes. I have gotten takeout multiple times and cant wait to try the tasting menu. It seems like a really interesting idea. I have noticed that spice levels are a little inconsistent. I always get the medium level, honestly sometimes it blows your face off, and sometimes i find i want a little more. Something to keep in mind when ordering. That being said, The Kolkata Club is fantastic and i always find the food extremely flavourful. ~ Michael K

Recently we did the catering from this place for our baby shower and it was incredible! The food was exceptionally delicious, everyone in the party praised the taste. The quantity was perfect. i was order food for my friends and after order my friends changed their mind to order different food and it was almost half and hour when order was placed, i call to restaurant if they can change my order and believe me lady who pick call was humble and change my order even after half an hour without any questions such a good customer service, even they knew that the first placed order was already prepared.They never charge me for the changed order. ~ jatt l

The food here is the best in st. Catharines. We have tried many places. Most places they add sugar to curry and not authentic. This place has options of spicyness. Our favorites are chicken sheek kebab, momos and fried rice. We recently ordererer trays for a party and everyone loved it including native Canadians. Kishore is good with quality and pricing. Service by both girls were good. Today Onisha was serving and she is friendly and made sure we enjoyed the food and time ~ Prince J
